Job Description: Production Associate

We’re seeking a dedicated production associate to join our rapidly growing team at Lore Cycling.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operations of our manufacturing processes, working towards the timely and quality delivery of products. Your responsibilities will include operating light machinery (sewing machines and 3D printers) and performing quality control checks to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor will contribute to maintaining optimal production performance.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in alignment with safety standards. 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay: $18-22/hr depending on experience

Objectives of this role

  • Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues with machines.
  • Following production schedules and quality standards to meet required targets.
  • Ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are followed throughout the production process.
  • Conducting regular quality checks on products and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
  • Documenting production data and maintaining accurate records for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of production machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve production problems early.
  • Basic computer skills to input and track production data.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience in a production or assembly line role.
  • Knowledge of sewing machine use.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations in manufacturing.
